  1. These are exactly the short pants or long shorts you need in order to scratch the forthcoming itch imposed by Prada’s $5,700 silk knickers.

    Not sure if these are the knickers in question or the skirt, but the gist is the same. I found the Natori shorts while doing market for Rachel Tashjian Wise’s getting dressed feature.
  2. The banner styling tip from Men’s Fashion Week reflects the new foundations of summer layering and how to actually nail it. The good news is that the only variable that seems to matter is to keep them (the layers) light.

    There is no airier solution to the summer button down than Q House of Basic’s ‘Dennis’ shirt, but I would argue these silks from TWP are worth it too. If you are feeling spendthrift, this is your key man.

    These from Leset are still the supreme pant choice (with something like this in close second), and the taste for a summer coat (no doubt motivated by something like this or this but accomplished in full with something like this) is growing more pronounced.

Generally speaking, this time of year is always provides the best conditions for a fashion week — we’re excited, for the most part, about clothes again because the weather is good and the season is still new enough that the novelty of the wears has not worn off, and what’s shown on the runway reflects what we can wear now.
