Ugly shoes! Love your take, breakdown, styling and suggestions. Completely relate to having an item that swings back and forth from the donate pile. Glad you kept The Prada loafers too. The worst is when you have the feeling after you donate it. ๐ญ oh well, what leaves is just leaving room for greater right?
Happy Tuesday!
Lastly, I found tangerine and chili olives just sitting in the deli section at the grocery store and times like these make me feel like I have been under a rock. They were so delicious they will be a regular purchase/snack. Even though I ate them for dinner with some cheese and protein. ๐ Thanks for the rec. ๐
Thank you for this. I have a feeling you don't know how amazing you are. Compassionate, highly interesting, creative, you have all the fun stuff. When you reach out to us groupies we feel seen. That means a lot.
I walk like a toddler a bit. The neuropathy makes me off balance. I am religious about my PT exercises so my core is strong, which makes me need my cane a lot less than I would. I'll send you a picture soon! xoxoxo
First, you in the dress with the flower clip is divine. Really.
Second, all the outfits are really good, your mix and match ability works. You are finding things in your closet that go together but are not traditionally together, it is such an inspiration.
Third, do you ever do jumpsuits?
Fourth, I have a foot disease called Charcot Foot. My primary shoes are New Balance extra wide because I have orthotics and a foot brace. I FINALLY feel cool since you mentioned them. I do wear them with skirts and dresses because I have to. I have black and white ones. Black tights with the black ones look okay. At the moment I am getting black boots custom made. Watch out then world, I will be the epitomy of cool.
Fourth, these emails are so appreciated. You must put a lot of time in not them with all the links that are in them.
I want to see a picture of you in the sneakers!!!! Bet if I saw you walking down the street Iโd be inspired. I have probably seen someone with the same condition or a similar one and THAT is what inspired the pick!
Also thank you for that final comment. I really do put A LOT of work into these newsletters. I love to do it, and it feels good to have that seen/acknowledged. Itโs so nice to be in the presence of other feminine energy, generally

Leandra! Leandra! Leandra! You have the World's Best Substack about Fashion!
I have been lurking for a year, and lapping it up! But the DICKIE tipped me over into subscribing.
E. Jean Carroll!!!!!! What an honor. And a privilege!
Leandra, I am sorry I can't reply---I am in the middle of sending your DICKIE photo to my group chats!
How awesome is that??
Cannot and will not ever get on board with the Tabi (I know itโs iconic!!)
Felt the same until the satin ones. I get it! But I also get them now. The CONFLICT
Was looking for more reasons to take out my ganni clogs... :)
Love all the happy-odd looks. โจ
Must add: you should be doing the wardrobe of the next Wes Anderson film. Just putting it out here. ๐ซ
THAT would be a dream. Your fingertips to hollywoods ears!
