I am so in! I often feel too basic in jeans and this style really helps out. Tibi Brancusis are great too, particularly for those of us who like pants to be lower slung.

You mentioned Tibi! Don't know why I didn't see it.

I like this! I will have to wait for a petite version though (which denim companies rarely do, besides in their most basic styles, and simply cropping won't work here). Hemming would cut out the curvature, and mess up the whole look. I'll figure something out.

you know what actually? i think you could probably just take a pair of mom jeans that either you already have, or have thrifted in a size slightly big, then belt them super tight at the waist to create that bow effect. have you ever tried this?

I have an idea: the Everlane ones have a seam under the knee, so I could probably take them up from there, retaining the curve at the bottom. I did this once with the JBrand Houlihan cargos back in the day (couldn’t hem from the bottom because of the zipper). It worked beautifully.

I have now officially spent way too much time thinking about this.

I haven't tried that. I love the idea of repurposing an older pair!

I'm on the shorter side so I'm always looking for cropped denim to avoid ruining the shape, too. I just got the Agolde Balloon version though and the length is pretty good!

I'm in! Big fan - I have two washes of the Tibi version and Cos does very affordable versions too. For me they look great with Chanel sling backs, clogs or mules. I however feel for denim its better when they are longer lengths to avoid looking like you are in need of a magic carpet lol
