This is my favorite suggestion yet. Being somewhat of a self professed coastal grandma, I have a plethora of sweaters and jumped right on the shacket trend, so this gives me a renewed inspiration for fall. Though your description of your friend Becky's style had me enthralled by her ability to have her Prada pants look like activewear at the same time as something as, dare I say rugged since that's what comes to mind when you write L.L. Bean, look like expensive and high end fashion as The Row. That made me think of endless non sensical combinations, like wearing a button-up Reformation dress open and belted over a sweater and skinny or tapered jeans with Hunter rain boots. Or my Patagonia black hiking pants with a classic J.Crew turtleneck and the aforementioned shacket with a pair of flats or heeled boots. My mind is blown. Love this perspective so much. Being from California in a sea of Ugg boots those shearling boots are perfection.
Yes! I usually take my reg size in mens shirts and make sure that the cuff has two buttons so that i can leave the higher one buttoned and roll up from the cuff (i found if the slit is too long, the roll up doesn't work as well). Does this make sense in words, wish I could apply a visual in the comments !
Welp, I was thinking I wouldn't get a subscription because I'm trying to buy a house and $5 a month seemed like something to save tho of course you deserve to be paid for your work and I want to be a part of that but when I went to comment and I couldn't I was like dang this is worth it because I've been shirting over sweatering (sweatshirtering also) for years tho I'm not a slim cardigan girl just because they annoy me on ME personally tho much respect for another woman, but I'm just so energized by the flow of your "unhinged" (great word) prose that I must connect and say from one cool mom to another, keep going you're killing it and imo PURPLE is back and let's run with it. Glad to be here roll up those sweatshirt sleeves and keep expanding me into what is possible.
Love! Can you do how to tie these scarves tutorial???
Hell yeah! It is on the docket for March

Do you have any tips for sizing with the menswear polo button-downs?
