Thesis: Getting dressed to look like you’re going out is back in fashion. What do you mean getting dressed to like you’re going out? Basically getting dressed in clothes you’d want to wear to go to the club or like, “a new downtown hot spot” the way they’d refer to moody new restaurants in the original Sex and The City.
This is so inspirational and makes me want to get out of my current sweats! I am going to yoga in an hour. I wonder if I can do this with yoga pants on :) challenge on!

Ok just had this dilemma come up recently...I often struggle with wanting to dress sexy but not look over exposed, and also worry about seeming like I'm trying to dress too young for my age (I'm 47)...I recently bought the Margot skirt from Ref, black, short, high slit. For evening dinner was thinking to wear new Toteme black pointy low heel mules, but what top? And do you think this skirt can be styled for day, or do you think its too dressy?
Love the sound of the skirt with the shoes. I’d wear a boxy button down tucked in. The chiara style from LMND is my favorite, which everyone knows by now! But could be great here. In white, brown, black, navy…they all have white buttons so it adds a softness to the look
