Love this and I have a few things to add

(1) Sometimes kitten can look too lady "on the nose" for over 50 peeps. It works best for me with irony or "off" ness of some kind - like wearing a white one with a black sock. Also great with shorts and high socks! I happen to be in Miami but you could have stockings too.

(2) You once wrote about how slingbacks never end up working -- like don't stay on. I agree and thus have banned them. I covet the Miu Mius great but this makes them not so great IMO... often this style is slingback

(3) I have gotten into wearing knee cap bike shorts with everything. You know those teeny Prada pink runway skirts with a train? I think bike shorts under might actually make them wearable....

XOXO

grateful for this, all of this + all of us -- nice to have small joys in these hard times for the world.

« It might be time to consider cycling shorts under a mini-mini skirt. » Actually obsessed with this « shorts under skirt » idea 💛 I imagine for summer something like this : https://maisonessentiele.com/collections/tops/products/boxer-short-5 under something like that : https://maisoncleo.com/shop/runway-look-19-transparent-white-weatherproof-style-mini-trapeze-skirt/

What do you think ? ☀️

So cool! ESP the skirt. i hadn’t thought of doing it that way, w the boxer shorts and sheer skirt. I think the boxers might be too much fabric under the mini though. What about pastel cycling shorts under ?

Thank you for indulging us! I really like this concept. It's the especially high vamp of the Toteme pairs that look fresh to me, I think. How lucky to have such a beautiful "bespoke" necklace! How many times did the beads fall off the string in the making of it? ;)

Yeahhhh that’s the whole thing. Bc vamp so high they don’t read as “open foot” shoes and that makes them a more reasonable cold weather option

I’ve been living in a pair of cream colored Tods loafers lately (along with fuzzy socks, it’s a . . . look); definitely going to have to search out some kitten heel loafers to take it to another level.

“Why? Round shoulders look softer than structured ones with pointed shoes and as I’ve mentioned before, collars — especially lapels — just get in the way. EASE INTO YOUR FEMININE WISDOM WITH THOSE SOFT SHOULDERS. ABANDON A RIGID COLLAR, GROUND YOUR UTERUS WITH PURÉED ROOT VEGETABLES AND REMEMBER: conception happens from the front, not back.“ 😅

Blazers too?

Last note: the knee length dress was my look of many years, the heels on your exercise a refreshing take, never managed to look that “loose” with shoes. It is the coat again? Collarless?

Not sure I get what your question is! But just had a vision of you in midlength dress w socks and shoes and liked it a lot.

Does that knee length dress with pants works best because of the shoes or the collarless coat?

And, do blazers enter your collarless analysis?

Two different variables. Work together or separately but aren’t the reason for the other working necessarily
