the jeans feel slightly pricey for jeans and the pants have too much polyester for me (any)… but i have been craving hip huggers for months (the c diaz reds are impeccable!) and love that they are showing up !
Would love to see low rise hip huggers in natural fabric ,
To me the lower waist with a slim (not baggy) leg is the new (old) New Look
example of natural fabric? i have been thinking about what the right material is. its a very delicate balance to get right because the fit is so polarizing
Simple with impact really resonates—especially the part about a "mid-heel pump with low-rise, subtle flare pants feeling new, exciting, and practical". I’d love to recreate that vibe with a black block-heel ankle boot I can actually walk in, with space on the toe box . Any favorites?”
I love all of these looks for you. As always! I’m personally struggling with lower rise pants because I’m just so short and have a booty. :( I’ve also been wearing bras as tops a lot in the last year. Or at the very least wearing them under very sheer things. Sizing is one size fits all so not sure how that works for most readers, but Brandy Melville has been my favorite source for cotton versions. They had some great triangle pull on bralettes and other bra type tops over the summer. Not sure what’s in stock now but they are super comfy and wildly flattering if you have a smaller chest like I do. And J.Crew has had some really excellent sheer tops and sweaters in the last year and they’re often on clearance for some reason. Perfect pairing with the bralettes for when you don’t feel like baring as much but still want a sexy vibe. I’m in Southern California so can get away with bras as tops year round. It’s not weird exactly… but sort of funny to me that I love showing off my stomach more than ever since I had my daughter two years ago? In certain postures the crinkly skin comes to light and I never thought I’d think it was so cool and sexy but I do.
