I’m on the subway right now staring at a pair of custom Vans with rhinestone & pearl details and I think that pretty much cements the city surf concept.
Wow i love all of this so much!! I think I thought I was more of a nightgown flow-y boho sort of person but lately my inner surfer has been coming out and I'm so into it.
I am in LOVE with the row platform sandals that remind me of a pair my italian grandmother wore to the beach, totally impractically as is the custom for glamorous Italians--are there any good dupes though? I can't justify any expensive purchase anymore now that all my $ is going to my kid's granola preschool (totally worth it, but definitely has made me adjust my wardrobe situation) Also what about the Lido swimsuit? Love it all thank you for your uplifting posts!!!
100 % you got it flawless with multitudes of personality in that sensational Chanel choker with swimsuit and jeans combination worn audaciously out & about in the city ! Love the further allusion to Chanel with the trim & pocket detail of the swimsuit ... great styling advice that you give when you stress : " And I will say you have to kind of exaggerate your visual projecting of the fact that you’re not by the pool to get this one right " I would say, quite a delight to come across this look for any passerby in the street. Also your version of Italian tacky and mastering the Pucci print, another enlivening Spring mood.
I’m desperate to get my hands on a pair of genie/balloon pants but I’m 5’ tall and can’t find a petite (or cropped, which would be normal length on me) version anywhere. Assumed Etsy would have something but no dice. Any leads? Straight wide leg pants were the best thing to ever happen to petite girls as you could hem anywhere without altering shape. Much harder with balloon, etc.!
The new Aflalo lolana pants (beige silk) are shorter than the first pair. But I think generally, bc the waist is often elastic, you can roll over a couple times and let them puddle. I wear mine low rise so that the balloon exaggerates more at the bottom. Give it a try? And then there r plenty of great price point options in this letter
girl, those oakleys are triggering, like its every man you shouldt date in southern california in 2003 and probably hes still wearing them now...
They remind me of skiing in Colorado in the mid 90s with my older brother. A true mush

Obsessed with the Lido swimsuit — a single strap has never looked so good!
Reminded me of the Dior bodysuit I borrowed for an event last month, which was so good with a single breast jacket over 😍
Boom just got the tee. Because we are in this together <3 x
I cut mine last night! To make it shorter and sleeves more cap
Yeah yours looked like it had a restyling done. Thanks for the tee tip
We are in this together! Order confirmed lol

There is a pair from Tory Burch that I am really into. I think I linked them but let me find again !
Not exactly the same, but pretty good! https://www.toryburch.com/en-us/shoes/sandals/patos-platform-slide/168871.html?color=043
Pucci is always the right answer 🌈🍥🇮🇹

But don’t try the Zara ones pictured here. They are super long!
"Unleash your inner four-year-old boy on the playground, amen."
Might be my fav Substack line....ever!?!
Wondering about Aflalo pant sizing— I like a roomie pants. Should I size up or stick to my usual?
For which pants? The fit is pretty true to size!
Genie pantssss xx
