There is no question that we are entering our statement jewelry era, which means that the breadth of style options available is only going to get more accessible.
Totally agree!! I recently wrote a Substack on metallics and included buttons too, changing the buttons on a boring wool coat can also be a game changer - Etsy has tons of good
As a seller of jewelry @dirtyhairanddiamonds, I spend a lot of time talking to people about how easy and fun it is to play with jewelry to create your own unique outfit and style. For some reason it takes time for people to embrace jewelry as a staple, but it seems to be getting there.
It’s definitely a more cost effective way to get the look BUT the one issue is that if you modify a watch, they won’t service it anymore. Like you’re on your own with it.

There is no curation that I like more than a jewelry curation! I have never clicked more links in a newsletter than now

Fun! What is the black lace camisole (?) under the white tank top?
It’s a bra! From the French brand Emi Mess
Accessorizing is such a talent! Wow!!!! Peekaboo of the gray lace bra also a star of the show. Brand please?

I love estate sales for jewelry shopping. You can find really unique and good quality stuff.

auctionninja.com and then search by zip code, also estatesales.net
"That black wrap watch is the classic Bulgari stainless steel ‘Serpentii,’ which I dipped in carbon gold to oxidize."
!!! ok this is incredible. I had asked about this very same watch from one of last week's letters, so thank you for the info!
what was the process like? would you recommend it for a non-jewelry-creator-literate normie? Or do I need to settle for something more blinged out, less murdered out like the spiga black/rose gold? https://www.bulgari.com/en-int/watches/womens/serpenti-spiga-watch-rose-gold-ceramic-black-102532
