There is something really literary but also really authentic about this, the lists, the truths. Thank you for trusting us with this vulnerable stuff.

Incredible. This brought me to tears. I’ve grown with you since MR, death and rebirth for all these years. Thank you for being a constant.

Thank you for this. And for all that you give us. I just made a major life change that felt, and still feels, terrifying and sometimes wrong, and is made heavier by the fact that I’m 47 and and and...

Your newsletter today has picked me up well and truly. ‘Life begets death begets life and on’. Just brilliant. Thank you x

“Courage, dear heart” C.S. Lewis and here you (and us) are. Only “thank you” pops in my mind. Very grateful. 🍀💞

It’s not easy to find authentic content that gets your mind going these days. And we are living in a content stuffed world! I jumped on the Cereal Aisle train recently and I ENJOY spending the time I don’t have to read your goodness. Thank you.

Second comment, that I hope it matches your courage: I bursted into tears while reading. I was a reader of your manrepeller blog, watched you face the primordials of your website and social media, and now the rebirth of Leandra in your “gluten aisle”. Besides gratitude for all the things you put out there, I also feel proud and admiration for your path.

You make such good stance on joy, that I couldn’t help to free translate this sentence that I have saved in my mind since I’ve read it in an exhibition of an artist: “joy is the most serious thing in life”.

I salute you and stay on this side... “goods speed” 💫

What a lovely and honest post to read today. I am 6 days out from shoulder surgery and today my husband, daughter and I said goodbye to our dear sweet 13+ year old labradoodle. Life, death, rebirth; the cycle continues. Thank you Leandra for sharing deep and universal life experiences.

I look forward to your writing and often read, mark unread, then read again to make sure I'm not missing one brilliant reference or poignant observation. I came here for the unmatched style, but wow, the writing. I too am often brought to tears. Thank you.

Thank you for this post and for the courage to share your feelings about MR and starting over. Who knows, may be it was a blessing in disguise, so many medias died and even Conde is struggling these days. Happy to be here and follow your journey !

Tears sprang to my eyes when i read “You are such a loser.” I know that feeling AND I think “even you feel that way?!” I loved Man Repeller and your style in a way that gave me permission to be myself. And now, with this the Cereal Aisle on substack, i feel it’s just an evolved version of you and reference for me. Thank you for always being vulnerable and for reminding all of us we’re soft and gushy and all seeking joy and stuffies. ❤️
