Such a fan of a belt. Can truly change or pull together an outfit in a completely different vibe, style, and personality. I am partial to my mixed metal with silver and gold chain belt and a studded Isabel Marant one at the moment though a plain leather belt and even a patterned one will always come through. I am here for the comeback of the belt buckle. All the looks are simple perfection though I am more into the basic looks with the tops and trousers and the belt over the sweater and skirt. Best.
I swear I ask myself “What how do I buy a belt I am so overwhelmed” and you read my mind and voila! Same with the beanies episode a few weeks back. Thanks a bunch!

Sorry to comment twice, though just reread and do not know how I missed this genius line the first time. It is everything. SO TRUE. New hair, thicker brows, or spiritual awakening. Same difference. 🙃

I have said this before though I will say it again, your podcasts brought me a new insight, sometimes lightness and always joy as well, way before this gem of a newsletter. That line truly made me laugh out loud. I think I was more focused on the clothes and thank goodness I reread it. Ironically it was to look back at your lovely jackets/coats.
Love that we all have different perspectives and also feel the same way about others on here too. Always something new to know or learn.

I have this on and off relationship with belts. Sometimes I love and I see the twink they make in the outfit but sometimes they weight on the waist bones 🤪 yet pulled a look a few weeks back where I used a foulard scarf under a button down shirt and on top of a high collar knit and if it wasn’t for the belt the idea would never come together.
Love the barbour-styled look first, the warmth to waist (to contradict myself a bit) next and every other look always 💫

The belt worked because I tucked in the foulard in the trousers 😅
