Still on the theme of incurring a light lift as opposed to a heavy lift when it comes to getting dressed, there are a few outfit makers that have facilitated my wearing variations on the same thing over again without feeling the same or over the top.
When you mentioned Uggs, I nearly fell over. Where I live, they are everywhere all the time. I am so sick of them TBH but I love the navy alternatives and they look more refined. Thank goodness!
Ok loved the dries and bought it for myself as a Christmas gift. Thanks for bringing always new recipes for how to wear different things - always very inspiring while not good for my bank balance
Skall turtleneck with vintage collar and the idea of the hair being left more or less as is after being dragged through the turtle is super flattering.
So many inspiring outfits here! The sweater/shirt-as-belt look harkens to my memories of how I dressed in 90s, but you've made me see the more elevated potential for today. Also, I love the look of a fun colored tight with a strappy sandal, but any tips on preventing slippage? I tried some Hollywood tape, it helps a bit, but walking still feels unstable.
Yes! This is going in the next letter of rec, but you know those grippy pads they sometimes use in Pilates to prevent slipping on the reformer when you’re sweating? They work between tights and shoes! And so do nipple pasties, which I used last week when I went to a party
Ooh can you please elaborate on the socks as well? Would love to know where the red ones are from here. I’m so ready for socks and sandals but my knowledge of socks outside of a concealed and functional smartwool is … lacking
The red fleece jacket in Victorians style is such a fun paradox! Shouldn’t work but does
The designer is making super interesting things. The way she works with muslin is cool too. It’s very clever clothing. Real ideas in them
Brilliant letter of rec with so many great takeaways. I love the jewelry with a turtleneck.
SO FRKKIN MUCH HERE. Ideas. TY!

Yes the heel makes a difference right!

Oh yay but also oh no. Did it come yet? Want to see it on you!

Turtleneck hair is its whole own science
lol:)
Does the Skall turtleneck run true to size or runs small?

These are just some random socks I got from monoprix (a French everything store) in Paris. But I like j crew men’s for plain cotton/wool/“dress” socks
Love my Monoprix socks!
Brilliant, thank you!
Someone should buy the NWT Skall turtlenecks I have listed on eBay. Perfect for a US 8/10.
Can ask what size are you wearing in the Dries van Noten please? Should it be worn fitted or loose? Thanks
The pants or jacket? 36 in jacket and 34 in pants. Dries generally is cut for a roomier fit
